About Us

Miadest was founded by Daniela Douglas, who grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Entre Rios in the state of Bahia. From humble beginnings, Daniela's journey has been one of continuous success since leaving her village when she was young. First, life in the big city of Salvador and then as an entrepreneur, establishing several businesses after immigrating to the USA 18 years ago. But Daniela's love for the region she came from and her deep affection for her northeastern and northern countrymen never disappeared, and so she began creating the project to keep these connections strong. When Covid arrived, Daniela reflected on her life and purpose, and decided on a new direction. She formulated a plan to use her entrepreneurial talents to create an organization to support Northeastern and Northern immigrants find their path to success. Furthermore, instill a sense of pride and solidarity among immigrants from the Northeast and North, enabling confidence to create happy lives in their newly adopted home.
